What is

The M.E.D.I.A. Ecosystem SIG is a vibrant community of approximately 60 Executive SIG members representing the ecosystem of Media, Entertainment, Digital, Information and Analytics who are interested in understanding the massive disruptions in these market sectors and high-impact networking with EF’ers sharing like interests.

Objective

Our goal is to provide our members with a highly interactive executive-learning experience with a focus on trends (trend spotters), disruptions (disrupters) and innovation (innovators) in the M.E.D.I.A. (Media, Entertainment, Digital, Information and Analytics) Ecosystem.  We believe that this highly interactive format facilitates learning and the translation of this learning into commercial implications and action.

Description

The M.E.D.I.A. Ecosystem program objective focuses on identifying industry topics of interest that relate to key trends, disruptions and innovations.  The co-chairs, often with the help of SIG members, tap into the ‘power in the M.E.D.I.A. community’ to identify engaging subject matter experts and invite them to lead an interactive discussion.  The material they share is very rich and informative.  This results in a high level of engaged and interactive participation among the members.

Members of the M.E.D.I.A. Ecosystem SIG represent the range of C-level roles, with strong representation from CEOs, CMOs and CIOs, in brand marketer organizations and service provider firms, including media firms, ad agencies, information & analytics and consultants.

The content is relevant to each EF stakeholder group thus at any meeting there are corporate alumni, independent professionals and members-in-transition.  In addition to the opportunity to network and build trust-based relationships with contemporaries, each member is interested in remaining current on critical market dynamics so they can best differentiate themselves, or their firm, in this highly competitive and fast paced marketplace.

Meetings are hosted in NYC eight times during the year – February to June and September to November -- on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 8:30am to 10:30am.  The agenda for the meeting follows a standard format -- networking | introductions and guest speaker | networking – and the current location is 114 W 47Th Street, 12th Floor Boardroom.  For EF’ers who are unable to attend in person, we offer a dial-in capability.
